Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school events include:

Assemblies

At Bangor Public School assemblies are held every fortnight at 2.15pm hosted by student leaders or respective classes.

K-2 on a Monday

Years 3-6 on a Friday

Book Week

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading.

Students take part in fun activities throughout the week including dressing up and shared reading.

Open Day and Grandfriends Day

Open classrooms are held annually during Education Week and on Grandfriend's Day. This experience enables students to showcase their work with the people who matter most to them. Visitors are welcomed on site and are treated to creative arts performances, cake stalls run by our active P&C association and the Book Fair.

P&C meetings and events

Join our vibrant P&C.  Meetings are held at 7pm on Tuesday nights in Week 3 and Week 8 of every term in the school library.

Parents and carers are welcome to attend.
